is there a name for these kinda green jackets? i wanna buy myself one but don't know what they're called. i also don't want them to be made out of synthetics because it's a pain in the ass to add patches on synthetic fabric

if the collar is made out of fur from rabbit, chinchilla, rabbit or fox, they're called asshole jackets, so make sure to check that before buying!@pelle dw i always avoid buying animal derived fur

@mynameistillian Looks like some sort of M-65 inspired jacket. Usually the hood on those is an add-on, though.

i remember having one that was brown, but i don't know what it was made of...
@mynameistillian usually leather or synthetic leather, but can also be cotton or polyester.

@mynameistillian this one would fit under "flight jacket" but a "field jacket" (or M65 pattern) is more likely available in the fabrics you're looking for

never seen anyone use one as a punk jacket tho. you might be onto something. i don’t think the material on most of them plays nice with patches tho -

@mynameistillian parka (but also in the UK at least they were known as 'snorkels' because you could zip them up really high so the hood would form quite a narrow furlined tunnel around your eyes, like Kenny in South Park. Very limited vision, but extremely cosy.)
