Just occurred to me: All my life I've rejected the conspiracy nonsense about a cabal of super-powerful, cacklingly evil guys getting together to share progress on the exploitation of the rest of us & I still believe I was right to do so - but also, such a cabal has, in fact, come to exist.
They're called billionaires.
Interestingly, the conspiracy nuts peddling the theory never saw that coming & pro'lly still believe that it's, like, lizards or democrats or some shit.
