@greenpeace I agreee on all fronts, except the "dangerous" part.
Any highly complex system carries risks of course.
They are, however, well understood and any modern fascility has more than enough redundancies to be considered safe.We can argue about nuclear waste, efficiency and better alternatives but calling a well understood scientific field fundamentally unsafe perpetuates public distrust and makes research and further development for useful applications unecessarily difficult.

@greenpeace I was pro-nuclear until I saw so many nuclear power plants down due to hot weather. Since then, it is clear that nuclear power is a dead end.

Maybe you haven’t thought it through yet but extreme weather is going to cause problems for *every* kind of electricity generation including the ones you like.

Nuclear power plant still runs with 50°+ outside, draught and most other things, the output water will carry more heat than currently allow as safe for ecosystems
Some part break because they are not design to those outside temperatures on the long run and changed faster than current plan (as most engineering part) but it can be create stronger for year to come
