I understand why Cordy thinks this is not good, but I'm pretty sure it had to happen. I've been around the kind of people whose mindset is represented by Fender's recent actions, including Cole's idiotic speech the other day & I can tell you: They were never going to back down peacefully.
The only thing that will stop them is a sufficiently large lawsuit & Thomann is one of a few companies able to punch in that weight class.
