"Please ditch your preferred thing in favor of our alternative which isn't better for you but is better in some other way that is abstract to you" is not the way to precipitate change, ESPECIALLY when A. you have the opportunity to make something that *is* better & B. the thing wasn't chosen in any meaningful way & nobody actually prefers it.
Better IT is the world's lowest bar. Just step over it.
