Of the umpteen controversies that Nobel Prizes have countered since first being awarded in 1901, the irony of the Peace Prize has been the biggest.
With the most recent being US President Donald Trump’s nomination by Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
The announcement opened the floodgates of memes on social media — the one driven passionately by disbelief, shock and sarcasm.
