I never feel comfortable sharing a video of myself while I’m suffering.
But because some people claimed my account is fake, I had no choice but to record this video.
I hate how this world treats us. Like we always need to prove our pain, as if it’s normal to doubt someone’s reality without asking for any details or evidence.

I want to explain a few things:
I created my Mastodon account on one of the hardest days of my life. I still remember that day clearly. We didn’t eat anything at all. I had no choice but to start sharing our fundraiser, hoping to reach people who could help.
At first, I focused on getting attention to our situation. I saw others sharing posts on Twitter that reflected what we were all going through in Gaza. So, during the first week, I shared some of those posts too.

But from the second week, I began creating my own original contentthat tell my personal story and daily life.
Some people saw the posts I shared in the first week, recognized them from other places, and thought I was a scammer. I understand why they felt that way, and I admit it was a mistake to repost others’ words at the beginning. But what really shocked me is that no one asked me for an explanation or any proof. They just blocked me without giving me a chance to clarify.

Who is the organizer of my family’s fundraiser?
Because of restrictions on fundraising websites, people in Gaza aren’t allowed to create fundraisers themselves. That’s why a friend of my brother Yousef, named Ribal AlAdeeb from Canada, created the fundraiser on behalf of our family.
Whenever we receive donations, Ribal sends the money to us through crypto wallets. Then we withdraw the money from local bankers here in Gaza.
