@Bruce @FediTips @NicksWorld Any time! I saw access potential and I knew that I had technical writing skills, so I put those to use because I really love the Fediverse. I don’t visit mainstream websites that much anymore unless I absolutely have to because there are those that refuse to leave, but I spend most of my time in the IndieWeb and Fediverse

Usually mentions are fine in general, I don't think most people are bothered by them unless it's spam? As long as there's a good non-abusive reason why someone is being mentioned it's usually okay.

@FediTips this post prompted me to chase down a long held niggle: can you view the local timeline of other servers? Turn out the limitation is with my client Tusky.
