If you're new to Mastodon, please be aware that there are no algorithms here. It's less noisy than what you're used to, but you have more control over your posts, your privacy, your server.
A good start would be to look around for servers and accounts that share your interests and follow them. For that, you'll need to add a few details to your profile to let people know what you're interested in.
It will take a mental shift, but it's worth it, especially in these times. #Mastodon
