This is not a brag but a lament - I'm something of a tech nerd & would LOVE to be excited by new developments & products, but what I've seen the past decade plus, from quantum & AI to everyday gadgets, phones & computers etc., nothing Commercial Tech
️ does right now is remotely interesting. It's not useful or innovative & it doesn't work.This actually pisses me of quite a bit.

@jwcph I remember being so excited when an update was coming out. Now on windows I dread them and on the phone I don't really want them either.

@Adventurer Mac updates used to be fucking magic - I remember one which improved performance by like 20%, one that introduced Sherlock, local search that actually worked (now called Spotlight & barely OK after you switch off all the noise) & one that brought voice control.
For comparison, the last one I did boasted - and I swear I'm not kidding - "Eight new emoji"...
