You should do the same. Your company should do the same. Take the steps you can take. Ready to change OS? Browser? Search engine? Mail provider?
My recommendation is to at least switch to Vivaldi!

@jon I never really used Opera, but I switched to Vivaldi as my daily driver several months ago to solve a specific problem. Firefox was my daily driver before then, but Mozilla made some questionable decisions that irked me, and I needed a way to keep multiple Google accounts logged in but separate. Vivaldi fixed my problem (via Profiles).
You're doing good work, here. Keep at it.

@jon But Vivaldi uses Chromium, you as a company directly depends on Big Tech and whatever they feel like doing. What happens if Google closes down Chromium? Will you fork and maintain it? What happens next month when Chrome drops supports for macOS 12? Will you do the same? Not used Vivaldi before so just asking (as a potential new user).
Btw, big fan/user of Opera in the mid/late 90s
