Even colder take: #ML doesn't work. I mean, it works, but... look, we've been at it since the 19-fucking-50's, on the assumption that a breakthrough will happen - but it's still very much just another part of statistics & thus basically doesn't create value outside of that field.

- and since almost nothing can be solved with statistics alone, or even mostly, ML application is by definition extremely narrow.

- and since #AI is just ML, well...
