Ditlef Martens Brødfabrik og Konditori A/S, a bread and cake factory in the middle of #Bergen, somewhere around World War II. The building still stands, but today holds a hotel, shops, and several municipal offices.
This is of course a newer building, but at this point, the bakery had been going for almost 200 years, since Detleff Martens became a citizen and baker here in 1753. The business still exists as Bakehuset Martens as part of a larger chain of bakeries since 1987.
