    #FediHelp Does anyone have experience with Copenhagen public transport? I have questions ... (among other things I have trouble installing the app -- for Rejsebillet the SMS never came and for Rejsekort the app complains that I am offline when I am not, but I am not on Danish soil yet either so I am wondering if that is the problem)

        @SemAntiKast
        I'd be happy to help, if I can.

        I'm not extremely experienced with the different apps though.

        Not being "in Denmark" could very well be an issue with the Rejsekort app.

        Are your questions mostly about how to purchase tickets?

          @folfdk Yes, I just wanted to have a comfortable way to purchase tickets. We have not yet decided if we need single tickets or will buy a daypass or something, so I wanted to download the app and see what is there in advance but as I said, I fail to install the Rejsebillet app bc the SMS just does not arrive, and the alternative given is "come to the customer center at office hours" which is frustrating. And Rejsekort app only seems to be for this swipe type of option?

            @SemAntiKast

            Yes, the Rejsekort app is for "live" check-in/purchase.

            If it's only for Copenhagen you could also try the DSB app (for trains mainly, but also provides the check-in option in the greater Copenhagen area).

            At https://rejseplanen.dk (and the DSB app) you can plan the travel ahead of time and see what the tickets will cost you.

            I think the DSB app actually also allows you to purchase tickets in advance for a specific journey (for bus etc, it definitely does for trains)

              @folfdk Thanks!

              I guess I am just a bit frustrated that I have identified the Rejsebillet app as probably the right one where I can buy all options, but I can only register with a phone number, not an email, and the confirming SMS just does not arrive. But I will get by with ticket machines or try the app you mentioned.

                @SemAntiKast

                I've found this

                https://www.rejsebillet.dk/da-dk/faa-hjaelp/oprettelse-af-konto

                Where it says rejsebillet only works in Denmark.

                But it should be possible to do the setup abroad one would think? 🤔

                And yes! Fuck all the danish electronic infrastructure! 😅

                Could there be some weird country code thing in Rejsebillet app with the phone number? That it's not registered/found?

                Anyway, the DSB app is setup with email.
                They're kinda competitors to the Rejsekort App, but prices are exactly the same.
