In May 1986, after the Chernobyl disaster, a German satire magazine on public TV had prepared a sketch about "our grandpa": He had been forgotten outdoors, for 4 hours. Let's ask the authorities whether he must be disposed of as hazardous waste?

The show would not be broadcast on Bavarian public TV, who called the sketch "macabre and degoutant". They couldn't convince any other public TV station to join in, though, and to censor the show.
