OwnCast is a Fediverse alternative to Amazon's Twitch. It's a livestreaming platform with built-in chat. You can chat without an account, or use your Mastodon etc account to verify your chat identity. Lots more info here:

A lot of people use OwnCast for livestreaming and then PeerTube for the VODs of their streams

@FediTips @video Is Owncast on any app stores or is just for browsers? I found Peertube on the Google Playstore but not Owncast. Should I try other app stores?

There is an official Owncast app but it's called "Owncasts".

By the way, you will get a lot more out of PeerTube if you use the web app instead of the app store app. The app store rules have restricted what PeerTube's app can do, but the web app has no restrictions at all.
