I'm seeing #AIslop on gardening pixelfed especially. Is there a way for our broader fediverse community to weed out the bullshit and hot air? I would like to be able to tag obvious chatbot-generated content, which then goes on a list of some sort (bot looking for a certain tag and then puts the original poster on a list), which can then be reviewed. If you then subscribed to that list, you won't see the spam. Can this be done? #fediverse #aislop #pixelfed

It's just how tech works
I think AI is bullshit too in its current form
I think it will have industrial uses
But for now, it's a good excuse to fire low-performing workers especially in tech
Your average team has twenty people to do the work of two competent ones

@monarchist I'm a gardener and work with chefs who cook food. All the LLM-generated nonsense in our field makes me laugh. People who use it get less creative, make more mistakes, write long nonsensical texts and frankly waste my time. All your comments have been entirely on-topic and doesn't relate to my question. I'm not interested in your generic opinions about technological developments.
