You know I’ve been on #mastodon for years now and have never done an #introduction

I’m Dave, a mental health advocate and lover of all things #coffee . I love playing #chess and listening to quantum physics and theoretical physics lectures for fun. No I don’t fully grasp them but man are they fun to listen to. I have a learning disorder that I just recently stopped having shame over. Yay #dyslexia . I am also a survivor of childhood sexual abuse and I am tired of being ashamed of it. I’m bipolar and have major depressive disorder as well as some ptsd. I use to help run a busy Emergency Room in NYC until my mental breakdown. I’ve been battling for close to a decade since that breakdown for social security disability to no avail.
I love making people feel good. I’m silly and because of recently found crazy meds I’m feeling real joy for the first time since I was a child. Now if only my insurance would pay for them. On my 4th denial I believe.
