I think its more a failure of mediation & administration - the admin account has been inactive for over a year (I was advised) & the instance did not reply to any approaches from the oversight group (whose name is now lit back on my old instance - currently inactive as still transferring followers) - so I think it was more opportunity than targeted

Inter-instance transfer - update.

As you will have seen the transfer yesterday from my previous instance to @instance-mastodon.me.uk has gone really well;

there remains an issue about visibility of posts if & when my previous instance is blocked for bot-infestation;

currently around 1k followers have yet to be migrated across, although it is still slowly progressing.

However, most of you are here & much of that is thanks to @FediTips excellent transfer guide.
