@copharynx Also, lest we forget, aiming taxes directly at the wealthiest is not just about tax revenue - historically it's explicitly a way of making them less rich so they cause less trouble in society. We don't have to pussyfoot around this; billionaire taxation IS about taking a good chunk of their money away from them. We don't have to apologize for prioritizing the best interest of everyone else above their avarice.
