Hey can we stop calling coal and methane/natgas "conventional forms of energy"?
An accurate term is
"Obsolete forms of energy"
or in formal language,
"Obsolete, expensive, polluting forms of energy"
If someone suggests an inefficient, costly oil furnace instead of a heat pump, an appropriate response is to ask if they're also going to swap their transportation for a horse.
Unless they're some kind of rich re-enactor, why pay out the nose to cosplay like tech stopped improving in 1950?
