Do note that what I just said is not "Russia was right to invade and kill civilians in Ukraine".

Iraq and Lebanon did not build bases along the US border. Though Israel argues that Hezbollah is a threat and uses that as justification. It's BS for other reasons (mainly again Israel has been the aggressor since the beginning of the last century).

So you think all those people you mention wanted what their governments decided? Where the hell are you from again? You agree with every decision your government has taken?
How many Ukrainians were against joining NATO? How many are native Russian speakers? How many of those were killed by Ukrainian militias?
As in any other geopolitical arena, things arent as clear as you seem to depict.
An exception might be made for Israel. Though even I need to acknowledge that it isnt.

Europe and the US, aka NATO has been moving their bases closer to Russia since the end of the cold war. (Of course its democracy at work). I said nothing about Ukranians deserving to be killed. Thankfully I am able to differentiate between a government and its people.
Russia has committed atrocities. Ukraine has committed atrocities. Europe is not innocent. The US is certainly culpable.
