Many of you got it absolutely right: the two #StarTrekTOS episodes without any visible food or drink (not even a paper coffee cup) and no talking about reconstituted meat are "Balance of Terror" and "The Return of the Archons". In all other episodes, I managed to find something.

Thanks to this scene, we get our only appearance of food in the episode, a bowl of chicken soup using the same type of bowl later used for plomeek soup in "Amok Time".

When I went through my #Columbo ("Murder by the Book") carnivore skull screenshots again, I realized I had completely overlooked an actual prop seen in the episode but also used on #StarTrek: this skull/chalice/dice/hourglass drawer. -

Unlike the skull, which is just of a similar making, this is the actual prop that appeared both on #TOS in 1966 and in #Columbo in 1971. Another mystery solved.

I can definitely say the twin Tucker tubes do not appear on the show (they do in the 1988 Return of the Incredible Hulk" TV film, though). So far, the earliest appearance is on Buck Rogers ("Shgoratchx!", March 1981).
