Many of you got it absolutely right: the two #StarTrekTOS episodes without any visible food or drink (not even a paper coffee cup) and no talking about reconstituted meat are "Balance of Terror" and "The Return of the Archons". In all other episodes, I managed to find something.

The Enterprise food slots were introduced in the transporter room for #StarTrekTOS season 1's "Tomorrow is Yesterday". Thanks to this scene, we get our only appearance of food in the episode, a bowl of chicken soup using the same type of bowl later used for plomeek soup in "Amok Time".

This is something that took me ages to notice: Picard is seen to be hiding undercover as a tinker at the end of the Nottingham Castle courtyard Vash/Q/Guy of Gisbourne scene in #StarTrekTNG's "Qpid"️. But if you watch the beginning of the scene, he's actually already there right from the start ️.

Twice on #StarTrekTNG, we see women with rather unique twin metal hair braid ties (if there's another name for this, please let me know! ), namely Nuria in "Who Watches the Watchers"️ and Maid Marian/Vash in "Qpid"️. I've never seen something like this anywhere else!

When I went through my #Columbo ("Murder by the Book") carnivore skull screenshots again, I realized I had completely overlooked an actual prop seen in the episode but also used on #StarTrek: this skull/chalice/dice/hourglass drawer. Does this seem familiar? 🧵 1/2

It's seen in Dr. Korby's underground living quarters on Exo III in #StarTrekTOS' "What Are Little Girls Made Of?". Unlike the skull, which is just of a similar making, this is the actual prop that appeared both on #TOS in 1966 and in #Columbo in 1971. Another mystery solved. 2/2

I fast-forwarded through every single episode of the 1977-1982 The Incredible Hulk TV show. I can definitely say the twin Tucker tubes do not appear on the show (they do in the 1988 Return of the Incredible Hulk" TV film, though). So far, the earliest appearance is on Buck Rogers ("Shgoratchx!", March 1981).

When I first saw this shot in #StarTrekTNG's "Qpid"️, I was like "uh-oh, they forgot to turn off the engineering aft bridge station, Geordi isn't at the station so it should be turned off!" but then the camera panned to the left and Geordi IS on the bridge ️. I love this consistency!

The necklace/earring that Vash wears in Ten Foward in #StarTrekTNG's "Qpid"️ will be worn by her again in her next appearance in #StarTrekDS9's "Q-less"️. These shots painfully remind us again that #DS9 sadly has not been remastered in HD...

The large PADD with a star chart that Picard looks at in his quarters when Q is bugging him in the middle of the night in #StarTrekTNG's "Qpid"️ was previously seen in "Devil's Due"️, held by Ensign Kellogg in a corridor. The star chart originally appeared in "Unnatural Selection"️ and then in "The Measure of a Man"️ and "Future Imperfect"️.

It seems as if Picard finally got some comfortable bed linen and pillows for Vash in #STarTrekTNG's "Qpid"️ . This is a big improvement over the shiny, glittery stuff he slept on/in/under in previous episodes like "Conspiracy"️, "The Offspring"️ and "Devil's Due"️.

When Uhura and Spock are playing some songs for the Enterprise crew in #STarTrekTOS' "Charlie X", one of the ship's crewmembers is (not) eating from a plate of colourful food cubes (green, orange and red). It's hard to see but this could be the stew variety with brown pieces of meat.

#StarTrekTNG's "Qpid"️ gives us one of the best looks at Picard's Enterprise-D ready room painting, as it appears before the retouches between seasons 4 and 5. The recreation of the painting from seasons 2 and 3 of #StarTrekPicard can be seen in the middle and bottom pics.

The MIDAS array model (created in 1999) must now be one of the longest serving CG models on #StarTrek. It was seen in the 22nd century as Yosemite 3 (#StarTrekENT's "Zero Hour"️), as the MIDAS array in the 24th century (#StarTrekVOY's "Pathfinder"️), as part of Daystrom Station in the 25th century (#StarTrekPicard's "Bounty"️) and in the 32nd century in the new #StarTrekStarfleetAcademy trailer ️!

Many outfits worn by the members of the Federation Archaeology Council in #StarTrekTNG's "Qpid" are re-used costumes from earlier (alien) guest stars. The costume worn by the Vulcan delegate ️ was originally created for (human) Ki Mendrossen, seen in "Sarek"️ .

Over the course of #StarTrekTNG, Captain Picard wore five different versions of the dress uniform. Also version 4 debuted earlier in season 4 in "Data's Day", we get a much better full body shot in "Qpid", as can be seen here.

Angus MacGyver at the Strategic Research Development Administration facility in the #MacGyver episode "The Human Factor"️ and the Bajoran refugee camp on Valo II (#StarTrekTNG's "Ensign Ro"️), both filmed at Bronson Canyon but 5 years apart.

In the season 2 #MacGyver episode "The Human Factor"️, MacGyver is seen entering the Eastern Bronson Canyon cave entrance (not the Western Batman exit). This entrance was also seen in #StarTrekTOS "Bread and Circuses"️, #StarTrekTNG's "Attached"️ and #StarTrekVOY's "State of Flux"️ (from the inside).

In my 30 years as a #StarTrek researcher, this will forever be one of my coolest finds: This screenshot from #StarTrekTNG's "Qpid" shows both 24th/25th century Starfleet Captain Jean-Luc Picard ️ and 20th/21st century thespian Sir Patrick Stewart ️ on screen at the same time.
