@ivory has ruined Mastodon for me. -
Switching to #Linux, I'm having a hard time finding a good (tolerable, even) #Mastodon client to replace @ivory.@kimschulz @daniel about a year ago I tried both and neither did this reliably back then at least.
I've not found a really good Mastodon client for Linux, https://phanpy.social/ is okay for use in browser but even that doesn't come close to the Ivory flow

One of the points was that using "AI" devalues the contributions made by human volunteers, leading to contributors (rightfully) disengaging.
Yesterday, #inaturalist announced an "AI"-partnership with Google, and unsurprisingly that's exactly the backlash they got…
