To the topic: A „bow sprit“ is a very common English sailing term where „bow“ defines generally the front of a ship.

@fasnix @tg @johl Maybe I was stuck a bit in the past. They seem to have come over the issues they had. Still no way for a concept to authenticate a user afaik. Everything is very public but dependng on the intention that may not necessarily be a problem.

@fasnix @tg @johl Wich comes with a trunk of security issues on it‘s own. Biggest question: Does it only exist or will it also be used?

@tg @johl The internet I grew up on was ftp, finger, gopher, usenet and telnet. No one sane would allow someone to use any of that to access something in 2026.
