And you think Monarchs who systematically rule claiming divine authority and literally claiming to be god incarnate who used the crown as a physical representation of that authority to be passed down generationally as a physical indicator of the next embodiment of god weren't using the crown to represent divinity? That's all halos represent: divinity. And, that is exactly what most crowns were used to represent.A crown tells the world "I am the god"
