@catsalad I think it was around 2016-17 or so, I got on a small server run by a person I was familiar with. Found the whole thing confusing. Didn't know how to set things up to suit me, didn't know how anything worked. I gave up on it, most of the feed was in Japanese. Came back on a different, large server the day Elon bought Twitter and this time had no problems at all.

@kimlockhartga @meganL Same here. The consumer's option in the U.S. is to stop being a customer. Which is not really an option if it's something you consider necessary and all the companies with that thing are doing this so there's no competition.
