ooh !! if it's the horrorish aspect you like, i personally quite like crow country! more closely related are games like mad father & witch's house, but those are very of the same era ib was a part of so i feel like you probably already know about em HAHA
omori might also be worth a shot, and ive heard oneshot is quite good, but departs from the horror-ish aspect of the rest of the recs! i havent had the time to play it myself yet so take that last one with a grain of salt
in a similar vein i have heard look outside is super good!
venturing into way way More horror, there's fear & hunger and fear & hunger 2, which are both very very brutal and come with a lot (a lot!!) of content warnings, but have a very . earnest? genuine? feeling to both of them that i really like, personally ! i think f&h2 would be a better rec for an ib enjoyer if you do happen to look into them (& it is understandable without having played the first)
& this last one is a bit more of a shot in the dark but you may enjoy slay the princess
