@yo8rzz @davidgerard People to trying reduce man hours and outsource work not exactly a novel idea in the world of computers.

I'm happy I can chill on runit, xorg, window managers, some duct tape and lts systems for the next few years to watch the show unfold as America realize their copyright and copyleft systems are a bit silly.

As I can summon up custom window managers using current tooling and see others summoning up custom display servers and everything else one can imagine the future seems bright to me and KDE seems even more irrelevant to this than it has been for decades.

@davidgerard Seems rather normal for this kinda project.

It's a huge beast of project trying to compete with Windows and MacOS UI's that are long knee deep in this stuff.

Thankfully there's not a shortage of desktop toys to choose from.

This all seems very religious as you try to decide which cpu's cycles are angels or daemons.

If we go back to Ada Lovelace kinda time it's there from the get go as the goal, they have been intertwined since far longer than I've been alive. Deep Blue vs Kasparov seemed like the big jump to me.

Avoiding AI fine, but don't lash out at plebs as one is emotional or confused.

Delete your corporate banking, GCC and the linux kernel gotta go, MacOS, Windows and Android need to be binned long ago. Real time maps, air travel, chess apps, predicative text, computer games, translation systems, biomedical science, vaccines and on it goes....but it's much easier to attack poor peeps on the socials than act on this stuff.

If you are handcrafting your binaries and gonna refuse all modern vaccines fair enough but the performative stuff a grim read.

Chronically addicted to computers but hysterical about machine learning seems a bit of a pickle....don't call it AI or WhateverGPT: call it computers.

Who needs accessibility anyway, people should just work harder and be smarter.
