That's two years just to get in the door, before the invasive interrogations, the pressure not to transition, and years of "evaluation" designed to filter us out, rather than help us.
If you make it through, you're prescribed hormones by the wrong specialty, at doses too low to be effective.
This is how trans people are treated, in The Happiest Country In The World (or is it "Best", Mette?).
All to protect a vanishingly small number of cis people from ever touching hormones, while trans people are actively harmed, delayed, and lost.
This is a political choice, and it's getting stricter, not better.
