@BrianJopek He found it again in his last few years. His writing in the late 90s and beginning of this century didnt hold back his rage at the direction the country was going. At the time I felt he was being hyperbolic and he was being a new character because he was gone from Rolling Stone and had a different audience/editor, but now I think you might be right, he prolly saw something.
