So, #mastobrain, to get me rolling: If I would like to try out a couple of different #Linux'es (you're never getting me to use that D word), do I need to buy a bunch of USB sticks to put each one on?@jwcph Basically, it's a disk-drive case with built-in software so that you can select any iso on it and it pretends to be a cd drive with the corresponding cd in it. That way, you can just choose any live cd distro on the disk and run it directly. It does a bit more, and is also usable as a regular external disk drive, but that's the gist.

You can then decide if Ventoy works as a permanent arrangement.
Running virtual machines also works, but I find Ventoy more convenient.
