@corpsmoderne I'm experimenting at the household level, at least. Tons of trash compute, now with the start of solar backing it up
Plan is to make this more sustainable and repeatable for myself with further infrastructure as code and documentation while writing about it in as much detail as I can
It's a complete mess currently, but pulling some order out of the chaos is a goal, even if I get 2-3 hours a week to work on it

Maybe someone in your neighborhood is looking for exactly that, and can offer to cook dinner and a nice place to tinker?I got into alot of what your mentioning so clear, through other people, and that was the secret.
