Hi, yes, welcome to Mozilla Burger.

@mausmalone Do you have a link that confirms that? Everything I've read so far has it enabled by default and the user can then disable it if they want to.
@cR0w Sorry, I was misremembering. It's specifically the ML translation models that are only downloaded on demand. Still, even if you don't disable the sidebar AI chat, it can't do anything if you don't select a service for it to connect to so it's essentially not installed as well.

Hi, yes, welcome to Mozilla Burger. It's true our burgers come with asbestos but the good news is you can pick it off yourself. Look how easy that is. No we can't make a burger without it and let you add it yourself later. Why would we do that?Oh sorry, no, that's not asbestos. That's high performance fiberglass that is exactly like asbestos. -

No we can't make a burger without it and let you add it yourself later. Why would we do that?@cR0w Firefox had its small slice of users conscious to look for a safer and private product. The LLM move just chopped that core business, and it didn't attract new users (who's looking for that slop may still be using some other browser).
I'm switching to LibreWolf now, anywhere I'm doing serious work. And I moved from ThunderBird to BetterBird for mail, even though I was a supporter of the former for about twenty years.
This is how management kills companies: maybe suggested by competitors? -

I've been using LibreWolf for a while now and have really liked it so I hope it works for you too.
