There, just finished my 7th watching of Stargate SG-1. The show is holding up pretty well, and as fun the 7th time as it was the 1st time.
It's also now tied with Star Trek Deep Space Nine as my second most watched series. The first is still Babylon 5, which I've now watched 9 times.
It appears I don't really need anyone to make new TV series. I have all I need on Bluray.

When I say "holds up well" I mean story-wise. It is clear that the budget didn't always allow them to make it as good as it could have been. Dropping expensive scenes, using low quality CGI, using clearly painted backdrops, shooting outdoor scenes on indoor stages without having the resources or time to make it not look like indoors, poorly overlayed green screen shots, etc. There are a lot of scenes that probably looked fine on DVD and low res TV, but not so much on HD Blurays.

One of the fakest looking scene in the entire series, which is repeated twice in the episode, is from the crystal skull episode when Teal'c is running across the bridge along the chasm inside the pyramid. It looks so fake, it almost breaks the episode. It's special effects on a 1960s level.

@pilum I always watch Atlantis as well, including the three season overlap. So this to will be the 7th time for this one too.
I started watching Stargate when SG-1 was airing the 6th season, so I've always watched them like that.
I always start with the 1994 movie and end SG-1 with The Ark of Truth, which I did just now. Next up is the season finale of Atlantis season 3.

Even though I do find it a bit annoying that his character is played so "dumb" whenever there's the slightest mention of science
