@GossiTheDog Used to work at a company invested in the digital twin idea. I think it's mostly hindered by the absolutely huge amount of tedious admin needed from people who really don't want to do it.

The HS2 people were also well into this stuff which says a lot...

@GossiTheDog what is the networking analogue to a car? There isn’t one. You won’t fucking steer or manually navigate a network. The network transports your packets and routes them for you. The nearest physical analogue is a rail network—which might be why tech-bros don’t like it.
