HCA MarathonJust came home from this awesome city marathon 🤩. It was an excellent race
🥳. Lovely route, perfect race org, nice t shirt + medal etc. Best weather I could have wished for. I optimistically decided to follow the 3H balloons … but after the first half marathon I was out of power. Perhaps I wasn’t supposed to believe I could pull this off so close to the 100 miler and also otherwise lack of real recovery
🫣. Ah well: still happy proud

Ah well: still happy proud @moelholm Amazing...I never doubted that you'd have a good marathon after your 100miler - you also need to buy the entire cake for your post marathon/carb reloading treat!

This is one of the marathons I want to race at some point - but today being my birthday, it just was not going to be this year. And I have Malmö in a week.

🥳The marathon course was the half marathon route twice (ish). There was some difference but I was perhaps also not fully aware
It’s a wonderful route. And the organization was lovely frictionless
. Highly recommended. There were a lot of toilet queues… but it turns out there are plenty of toilets at the stadium outside … so most queues inside was strictly not necessary. Lovely race venue and expo to go and buy stuff at
