So here's IBM, a company that most certainly knows better, pretending it doesn't matter that a 40 year old chess computer beat ChatGPT at chess.
Because "Thinking ChatGPT can do chess is like thinking it can be your girlfriend or therapist", they say, completely ignoring that these LLM models are ABSOLUTELY being sold as if they're able to do that & 1000 other things they also can't do, now or ever.
Man, the tech sector sucks ass.
