God, I'm getting so tired of incorrect over-information... you know, the "how far is your delivery/is the thing in stock/how far is X from your location/how many minutes 'til the bus" stuff that's everywhere but can't be trusted like 50% of the time.
We end up spending *more* time & attention doing things because all the time spent based on trusting said information is wasted when it's wrong & you have to pivot.
Did I say that I fucking hate #design without function...?

@jwcph yes! And maybe I don't need all this information, even if it would be correct. Just because you can send it automatically doesn't make it good. #customerservice

@jwcph DHL recently surpassed themselves. I received updates on my delivery every 30metres of its journey, or so it seemed. I particularly enjoyed the package being on hold due to a “local problem”. There was no problem, it was just at the the port. I think the problem was perhaps the boat wasn’t currently there.
