If so, I want to explore jurisdiction for a possible libel case.
You can’t just go around calling something a scam when it isn’t. It would be worthwhile to explore what we can do about that.
Whoever feels inclined to reply: My suggestion is to prepare for legal action in private conversations, not by posting details in public responses. Doxxing people in public is prohibited and punished by most Fediverse server instances, and it also isn't necessary for achieving the purpose mentioned here.

@katzenberger I don’t care about their address. I’m asking for their country of residence to establish jurisdiction for a possible libel case. That’s not doxxing. But yes, private messages are fine.

Their specialty is denouncing #GazaVerified, a verification initiative that was founded to give #Palestinians in #Gaza a voice.
"Adam Howard" / "Linux is best" is continuously trying to sabotage any donations to people in dire need, by slandering them as a fraud, wherever possible.
Please report the respective posts to your instance admins, and have your reports forwarded to the instances that harbor the accounts of this scum. IMO, a #fediblock is overdue.

@katzenberger Did you know that Anne Frank was a scammer? Because she didn't behave like a normal person would. She didn't write to her diary about the Charlie Chaplin movies or early Walt Disney animations that were popular at the time. She didn't even write about work!
Instead she just hid in an attic all day and asked the people hiding her to provide her with food and money, like a scammer.
All she wrote about was how small the attic is and that terrible things are happening outside. Clear signs of a scammer! A normal person would have written about video games!

Every person in Gaza carries a different story, a different pain, and different needs. Behind every request for help, there is a family, a child, a mother, or someone simply trying to survive and make it through another day.
I truly appreciate your efforts in listening to each person and understanding their circumstances. Sometimes, simply feeling heard and having our humanity respected is just as important as receiving help.

@katzenberger Nice work. I've been blocking this guy's accounts for ages - maybe over a year now? - after he trolled a post I wrote about migration constraints of different Fediverse platforms, then after I blocked him started badmouthing me in relation to a Mastodon account migration tool I built years ago. I figured he was some extreme Sharkey fanboy.
I didn't know about all this Gaza stuff but he seemed like thoroughly bad news and his accounts were like a hydra. As it happens I don't see eye to eye with Aral, either, but the Gaza verified project was a really good idea and is commendable, and the "Linux is Best" guy is most definitely not.
