A short and hard run.

A short and hard run.
Inspired by @folfdk's suggestion that I should aim for a sub-4 marathon, I now try to push for a (slightly) higher pace when I run. Sometimes I succeed.

@askekammer
Uh, I'll only take credit for that if you succeed, not if you over-do the training!I hope it was a good run Aske! Did everything feel in flow? And what pace did you aim at?

No worries. I take full responsibility and happily share whichever glory comes from this (if any).
My average was 5:03 per km this morning, and that's quite fast for me. But for now, I don't aim at any particular pace; rather, what I work on is to push myself a little beyond what I would normally do, getting comfortable with running harder, better, faster, stronger. It's mainly (but not only) a mental challenge.
Today, I felt good doing it. There will be ups and downs.

That's a wonderful strategy!
I realize that I'm too attached to the immediate feedback from my devices when I'm out running.I should probably do more of those kinds of runs, where I run on the feel.
Perhaps a challenge for my Sunday run
