Look, if you want to make a Microsoft Publisher file, go ahead, but don't pretend that it's a web site. Then there's no pesky standards to follow, only the people with the right software can open it, AND you get to use a nice drag'n'drop gui tool to make it.

Also, 90% of the time, the only thing these minority browsers have done "wrong" is having a slighly different useragent string than the Chrome browser they are really just a skin on top of. You know, the useragent string that has been completely unreliable since the introduction of Internet Explorer.

That's part and parcel why I don't post YouTube links as a rule--my use of ad blockers, they sternly tell me, is against their Terms of Service as if I'm a client when I'm not. Fork that snit.

@ptribble So who is going to write a browser extension that automatically changes "unsupported browser" messages to an "unsupported website" message?

The browser extension to also presents a button that allows the user to permanently block that website itself and also block it from appearing in search engine results.

And a second button lets the browser user send an auto generated complaint email to the website maintainer in the style of Bowerick Wowbagger the Infinitely Prolonged.

it is a niche, and it really doesn't matter what you think, the world doesn't do what you want
and also telling people to seal themselves off, do you even hear yourself talk or you dont care ?
