As a public service provided by a cooperative group of media companies, I would like to urge you to create an independent social media presence on the Open Social Web, or otherwise known as the Fediverse.
This is a growing network of social media servers, very similar to how the 'World Wide Web' grew, that are all interconnected and where people are able to exist as part of one social media space (like "Mastodon Canada" mstdn.ca) or their own social media space interconnected with all others as is happening in many European spheres as a matter of digital sovereignty.
I would be happy to answer any questions you might have about this emerging field as a volunteer and as a service. I would be happy to point out places where CPAC could be a member, or how CPAC might create their own space (which is a very low cost, and low maintenance endeavour, similar to a website).
