#Meta has blocked this graphic from being posted via WhatsApp and possibly other Meta platforms.
We don’t know why.

It says: “THE WORLD NEEDS #BRAZIL. THE WORLD STANDS WITH #LULA.”

Share it if you can.

@eliasulrich
that's why:

@eliasulrich I tested on my sibling's WA room, it worked. Maybe only in Brazil?

"NOT HOTDOG"

@eliasulrich Oh, I think we all know why.

@eliasulrich @akamran

It’s so sad that so many countries rely on WhatsApp as their primary lies of communication … it makes it far too easy for a single company to censor or limit the free flow of information.

[akamran@indieweb.social]

@rickf @eliasulrich I CANNOT STAND IT when government officials do this, no matter WHAT level of government!

Edit: the "this" I was referring to was government officials using these platforms in the first place because they are controlled by these rotten companies, which was not clear from my reply. And didn't really respond to the original post. Whatever. I hate those platforms and the oligarchs who control them!

[rickf@indieweb.social]

@akamran @eliasulrich

Yes, but in this case, it might’ve been Meta that implemented the block and not the government, which is worse.

[akamran@indieweb.social]

@rickf @eliasulrich yeah I got that - that's why I can't stand it.

[kallekn@mastodonsweden.se]

@akamran @rickf @eliasulrich Meta is apparently trying to influence the elections in Brazil.
