Israeli general says Gaza should remain ‘destroyed for generations’
Ret Maj Gen Giora Eiland said that "rebuilding Gaza would run against Israeli interests. Israel has no interest in Gaza being rebuilt, it is better for us that it be destroyed for generations to come."

I guess nothing that isn't wrong with the 93% of Israeli Jews that are cheering on the genocide...

It's just so strange seeing a people who survived genocide after genocide, for centuries, turn around & commit one themselves.
Why?

It can sound strange, but it can also sound consistent. Context matters a lot, especially bcz there's no one abiding mindset of "a people".
It's documented that, when E European Jews embraced the opportunity, via Christian Zionism, of a homeland, they believed (& Ben-Gurion openly admitted) that violent displacement of the indigenous inhabitants was inevitable
Then came decades of brain washing re Palestinians as an animalistic existential threat. So "kill or be killed" is the rule.

@Npars01 Is this a real question?
On October 7th, 2023 all of Isreal and most Jews in the Diaspora broke. The realisation that the people in Gaza were NEVER going to stop murdering us. The world expected us to just accept this and allow ourselves to be murdered by the PLO/Hamss/Hezbollah. From suicide bombing and bus bombings of the 1st/2nd Infantada to Oct 7.
We broke.
No one ever asks why HAMAS doesn’t surrender.
They only ask why Jews won’t let themselves be murdered peacefully. -
