p.s. This feature opens up a lot of possibilities, for example it could be used to create publicly shared blocklists. I wrote this guide as someone asked whether shared blocklists are possible on Mastodon.

@FediTips Was support for filter export added recently? I think it wasn't there the last time I had to migrate. Cause I remember having to rebuild my filters on the new server ... This is better!

Yes, it was added in 4.6.0 I think!
