Yeah, I mentioned that it is based on Google's Chromium in my post, but it is recommended by privacyguides.org and other privacy advocates. Do you have any specific reasons for suggesting it not be used other than it is based on Chromium?

Gotcha.

The original post was not specifically about de-googling but, rather, defending against ad-tech in general.

I prefer LibreWolf myself (though I'd happily use Mullvad as well). But for anyone that wants (for whatever reason) to use a Chromium-based browser, as far as I know, Brave is the best choice.
