Did you try editing and saving your profile after putting it in the header? It only checks if you save it afterwards.

yes... I don't have the budget right now to rent a VPS at the moment so I'm stuck with my registrar's (weebly) or payhip's CMS

@FediTips do you have any info about verifying other socials etc.? I'm stuck on Pixelfed not going green.

It should work with any site or platform that links back to your Mastodon account using the "rel=me" standard. In theory this was supposed to be everywhere, but Facebook, Google etc refused to play ball so for the moment it's just on sites that adhere to the standard like Mastodon etc.

I had a look round Pixelfed's Github and you've done everything correctly, I'm not sure why it isn't working on your profile https://github.com/pixelfed/pixelfed/issues/3844

Maybe try removing it from your Mastodon profile and then re-adding it?

Hey, someone else had problems and removing the link from their profile, saving, then adding the link back and saving again worked. Might be worth a try?
