There's no separate option for that, but if you've seen the same boost (from anyone) within the last 40 posts it won't be shown.

By the way, the self-boosting is usually done for reaching people in different time zones but this usually means it's done many hours apart.

Yes of course, it's just rarer for people to just want the curation without any posts at all.
