Who cursed me today? Tusky isn't working for me, so tried the official client and it says this.
EDIT. Tusky is back working fine, so all good for now.

(If it's feasible for you, try just pinning the web app to your phone's home screen, that delivers a full app experience with push notifs and stuff - should see you through until Tusky works again!)

@dilmandila I have personally had good luck with Tusky but you have my sympathy. My spouse uses Ivory, I think, if you are committed to the "try new apps until one of them works as advertised" path.

If “no address associated with hostname” then it's probably DNS.
Although that isn't saying much, because it's always DNS.

@dilmandila I've been using @phanpy on iOS as a progressive web app and I just love it. I'm sure you can do the same on android. Highly recommended.

I recomend you try using the browser directly. Its smooth for me.I think @FediTips can explain this and also suggest a better solution

@argv_minus_one it might be. I subscribed to a data plan for a new telecom here and had to change something in the settings, and I think after that I started getting this trouble, but will experiment on it tomorrow and see if it indeed was the problem.

@welshpixie Thanks! This actually seems to work nice, especially with Phanpy. Tusky appears to be on and off, annoyingly.

@dilmandila yeah, it'll take them a little while to get everything working after the update. I know they're working on it though, they have a test account on .art and it's been active

Oh no, sorry to hear Dilman! Hopefully it is just a temporary glitch?
As Ethan says, it might be worth trying the website version to see if that works?
If the website works but the apps still don't work, I would get in touch with your server admin to let them know. On mograph.social that is @mauro
